ALX-HD16-16BS 16mm LED Indicator Light | Panel Mount
16 mm LED indicator light with a domed translucent lens, 18 mm bezel and 32.5 mm overall length. Red, green, yellow, blue or white lens, AC 110-380 V or AC/DC 6-220 V, screw terminals.
The HD16-16BS is the smallest lamp in the HD16 range: a 16 mm panel indicator with an 18 mm bezel, so it takes very little room on a crowded plate. It is the lamp we see most often on compact control boxes, small machine guards and test benches where a 22 mm indicator would not fit between two 22 mm buttons.

The AC 110-380 V version is for direct mains indication; the AC/DC 6-220 V version covers 12 V and 24 V control circuits. Tell us the voltage at the point of use when you order - a 24 V lamp fitted to a 220 V circuit fails as soon as the panel is energised.
Design Features
- Domed lens spreads the light sideways as well as forward, so the lamp is readable from an angle rather than only head-on.
- One 16 mm hole and a nut at the back - no bracket, no separate bezel to lose during assembly.
- Screw terminals sit on the rear body and accept a ring or fork lug, so the panel can be wired before it is closed.
- Black plastic housing is not live at the front, which keeps the outside of the enclosure safe to touch.
- Five lens colours from stock, so a lamp can carry a state rather than just "power on".

Order by model code, lens colour and voltage, for example "HD16-22DS, red, AC/DC 24 V". Colours can be mixed in one shipment - tell us the quantity per colour and we will quote against it. The same panel cut-out fits every lamp of the same mounting size, so a 16 mm lamp can be swapped for another 16 mm lamp without reworking the panel.
Applications
Compact control boxes, machine guard panels, test benches, small pump and fan starters, instrument enclosures and any plate where 22 mm hardware is too large. Common colour convention: red for fault or stop, green for run, amber for warning, blue for a remote or automatic mode, white for power.
